CURATE KINDNESS

An art project by the community, for the community

 

For this activation between Born This Way Foundation and CB2, I had the idea to create a platform for artists in the queer community and put them at the forefront rather than the brands themselves.

After sourcing and curating pieces from four artists, limited edition prints were sold in stores in the US and Canada for one month. The work was centered around kindness–a core pillar for Born This Way. 100% of the proceeds went to the foundation in addition to the artists being compensated.

This campaign was about more than a moment in time. It was about lifting up creative voices, connecting with the community on a deeper level, and offering up high-end art at an accessible price point.
